HAPPY ZOO DAY Story Time . . . Books about animals that live in the zoo and a little zoo activity finding ALL the Zoo animals in the store. Giraffes. Bears. Monkeys. And More . . . DOES A PUPPY LIVE IN THE ZOO? Nooooooooo!

To celebrate the arrival of spring, Mother's Day, and our
general "fanciness", we are having a tea party!  Come dressed in your fancy glittery finery
and enjoy Fancy Nancy approved beverages and goodies.  Bring your Mom, grandma, gal-friends, dolls
(and any brave boys).  We will also enjoy
a reading of Fanciest Doll in the Universe. 
It is never too early to start practicing pinky out tea sipping!

Anyone here remember Where's Waldo fun from last year? Well guess what!? Coming this July Waldo comes back to the magic city and we are oh so excited to have him. Celebrate Where's Waldo all month long with sales, scavanger hunts, kid's activities, and more! We'll keep you updated as July creeps closer.

Pirate games. Pirate puppet show. Pirate stuff. How many pirate things can I name off the top of my head in five seconds. Plank. Ship. Eyepatch. Sword. Hungry Sharks. Johnny Depp. And that's it. I am not very good at this game, am I?

But, I am sure that there will be LOTS of fun at this pirate party with Autumn Edwards as your hostess and Main Street Books as your mostess! And now, I am just speaking gibberish. Or is it JIB- berrish when you have to walk the Jib in pirate talk? Auurgh, matey, if you don't come you'll have to walk the jib. Auuurgh!

Main Street books hosts something wonderful...EVERY WEEK! And that weekly event is called story time, and involves the reading of some amazing children's books, a snack, and a craft. Bring your little munchkins by and prepare to be entertained!

This week we are going to read two brand new books --"Imagine" by Bart Vivian  and "The Deep, Deep Puddle" by Mary Jessie Parker and illustrated by Deborah Zemke and we are going to "Imagine" what would fall in our "Deep, Deep Puddle" that we build on the sidewalk with sidewalk chalk. We might draw whales or puppy dogs or even a house that might slip into our giant puddle. 

Fun in the sun because it is officially spring - -but, you might wear a jacket anyway. It is North Dakota, after all!
